My love for creative expressions runs deep and wide. At the fore are my books and music. To date, I have had a children's chapter book series, a YA novel, and a novella published. Each has been well received. My first foray into the literary world of nonfiction is Finding Beauty in the Gray: Stories and Verse from the Third Age. It shares my own and others' stories of life in the senior half.
For many, many years, I have been singing and performing in a multitude of settings, from churches to prisons, from barns to bars, from baseball stadiums to backyard bonfires. I was a founding member of the rock band, Thursday's Flight, and these days find my home in the classic singer-songwriter, contemporary folk tradition. I've written many songs of love and loss, a few of whimsy and mirth, and even the occasional commentary on our social condition.
In addition to my crafts of music and words, I am a loving dad to two adult daughters, one irascible beagle, two cat-like cats, partner to Heather, psychotherapist, life coach, and general raconteur living in Apex, North Carolina.
